Ayurveda – (Means Science of life)

Ayurveda is an ancient and universal system of health and healing that is suitable for everyone, which has a history over 5000 years. It is a timeless health system drawn from the ‘laws of nature’ and is tailored to people’s individual constitution known as ‘prakurthi’ in Sanskrit.

Ayurveda is based on the concept of the three doshas called Vatha, Pitha and Kapha. The word dosha gives a meaning as impurity or fault. Vatha, Pitha, Kapha are a combination of five elements – air, earther, earth, fire and water. These elements have certain qualities impacts on the human body. By knowing the predominant dosha of your bodytype, this will enable you to focus on your diet and life style and other measures of preventing disease.

Ayurvedic practitioner will assess your ‘prakurthi’ or body type imbalances through various diagnostic procedures like pulse reading, observation, skin and tongue colour the description of your life style and hobbits etc-basically how you will live your life.
